Pineapple Mayhem-feminized-marijuana-seeds-Mosca SeedsPineapple Mayhem has some interesting genetics in the form of Sonic Fly x Pink 2.0.  Very little is known about Sonic Fly, but Pink 2.0 has a long and diverse pedigree which starts off with some great “new school” strains and as you keep going further and further back into its history, shows up some of the great classics, including Afghani and OG Kush.

With about 15% THC, Pineapple Mayhem hits the sweet spot for a lot of medical users in that it’s enough to deliver a quick hit of pain-relieving, bad-mood-busting power without pushing you into a major high whether you want one or not.  The cerebral buzz is is happy and quite psychedelic but this strain tends to be used more for its CBD content and is especially popular as a treatment for arthritis.  As such you would probably want to keep it for evenings and night time although it wouldn’t be out of the question to use it in the daytime.

The flavour is what you would expect from the name, it’s mainly pineapple, but not totally pineapple, there are other tropical fruits in there as well.  The surprise (mayhem?) comes from the Pink 2.0 father which brings in a clear note of pine, as in menthol, which adds a very welcome note of freshness to all the fruit sweetness and essentially helps to keep it real.  Similar comments apply to the aroma.

Pineapple Mayhem finishes flowering in a respectable 8 to 9 weeks indoors and outdoors it will be ready in early October.  It does like its sunshine and prefers to be in the dry so it’s probably better suited to outdoor life towards the south of Europe rather than the north.  Indoors it will tend to edge just over 1M in height, but is unlikely to grow above 1.1M tall.  Outdoors, Pineapple Mayhem can easily reach 2M and more, even 3M if the growing conditions are particularly good.

Overall, Pineapple Mayhem is actually very straightforward to grow.  It gets its “medium” rating purely because of the fact that it’s a photoperiod strain and therefore growers will need to manage light cycles.  Other than that, Pineapple Mayhem will require very little in the way of management since it will grow quite happily in any medium and in addition to being reasonably short, it has the compact and robust structure typical of Indicas with good branching and a preference for producing a single, large central cola.  Pineapple Mayhem also has decent resistance to diseases and pests.
