Alien Kush Plant

Alien Kush is another strain from the thriving Californian cannabis breeding and growing scene. It’s a balanced Indica and Sativa strain created by combining genetics from Las Vegas Purple Kush and Alien Dog.

The Alien Kush strain has a smell that will remind you of pine forests and freshly turned earth. The flavor is similar but with added notes of exotic spice and sweetness. The hit starts of as a soaring euphoria and then settles down to a leisurely stone that’s relaxing without being couchlocking. The high lasts for around two hours. Medically, this weed can be used to alleviate stress and to help with appetite problems.

Alien Kush seeds produce plants of a medium height with light green, medium-sized leaves and dense, sticky buds with a coating of amber to orange hairs and silver crystals. THC content is around 14 percent.

Indoors, Alien Kush does well in both hydro and soil and benefits from careful trimming as well as the addition of organic nutrients. Flowering time is eight to nine weeks and yields are moderate, around 300 grams per square metre.

The Alien Kush strain is quite hardy so you can grow it outdoors in northern Europe. Plant out seedlings in a sunny, sheltered spot after the last risk of frost. Harvest in the northern hemisphere comes in early to mid-October.

If you’re looking for a weed that offers a good balance of the best qualities from Sativa and Indica strains, put Alien Kush on your shortlist. It’s not the most prolific cropper, but it does offer a quality weed with a thoroughly enjoyable high.
