Banana Kush Plant

Banana Kush is a 60 percent Indica and 40 percent Sativa hybrid with origins in California, where it was created by crossing the Banana and OG Kush strains. This weed has made a real name for itself within California’s medical cannabis community and beyond.

The smell will make you think of fruit and spices and once you taste it, you’ll immediately recognise a green banana flavor, with a hint of sweet melon thrown in as well. Delivering a euphoric high accompanied by a sunny mood – it’s a great weed if you want to relax with friends. The hit can last for as long as three hours and as it starts to wear off you’re likely to feel drowsy. Medical dispensaries recommend Banana Kush for nausea, insomnia and poor appetite.

The plants grow to medium height with large, palmate leaves that are vivid green. The longish buds are bright green, dense and covered in a coating of sparkling crystals and red to yellow hairs. This is a potent weed with a THC content of 18 to 20 percent.

Banana Kush seeds do best when grown indoors under controlled conditions. It’s not the easiest strain to grow and requires attention in terms of lighting, feeding and trimming. Its flowering time is eight to nine weeks and yields are at the lowish end of medium.

The banana dominated fruity flavor of this strain makes it a favorite with connoisseurs. Banana Kush requires some skill to grow but the time and effort will be repaid with some excellent weed.

I’m interested in strawberry and also blueberry, bubblebum and now banana kush.
I and my wife suffer from chronic pain and we don’t live in Colorado, we live in Pennsylvania. What’s the best strain for pain and where do you ship from. My bank
gives me a hassle so I have to tell them to allow the charge ahead of time or the order won’t be processed.
Get back at me so i can get my order in, I grow indoors and this grow has just moved to 12-12 lighting. I need to get some seedlings pushin’ upin here!
