Big-Bomb

Big Bomb seeds produce an Indica dominant strain that’s very much in the mould of the classic skunk type weeds that became so prevalent in the late 1980s and 90s. It was produced in Holland by crossing two strains, Big Bud and Bomb #1. Big Bud is a well-respected strain that took first place in the Indica section of the second annual High Times Cannabis Cup back in 1989.

The Big Bomb strain has a classically pungent smell typical of skunk type weeds but this slightly acrid note is absent from the flavor which has sweetish notes of exotic spices. When it comes to the hit, Big Bomb certainly lives up to its name, leaving you couch locked for a couple of hours at least! Medically, this strain can help patients who have appetite or sleeping problems and it can also alleviate muscular pain.

Its plants are quite bushy and grow to a medium height with foliage a darkish green. The very dense buds are oval and covered in shiny crystals. The THC level is in the medium to high range at between 10 and 15 percent.

Indoors, this plant thrives in either hydro or soil and its natural growing habit makes it well-suited to the SOG growing method. It’s a vigorous grower so it may need some pruning and tying to shape it to keep it in bounds. Flowering time is eight to 10 weeks and yields are 600 to 700 grams per square metre.

Big Bomb is quite hardy so you can grow it outdoors in northern Europe as long as you avoid frost and make sure the plant is protected from wind. Harvest comes in late September or early October and yields can be as high as 1.5 kilograms per plant.

Big Bomb seeds are easy-to-grow with prolific yields which makes it a good bet for both commercial and domestic growers. Anyone that enjoys the classic skunk flavor and high will love Big Bomb weed.

Just germinated 2 of these, am using living soil , growing them outdoor. Hoping for a decent cycle from them. Am in Australia and will keep them topped constantly, lst and hopefully under 1 metre tall due to nosy neighbors and our stupid laws.. looking forward to seeing how she does, started them under lights and will keep them on 20hr a day indoor for first month then put them in my garden.

Hi,I’ve just received my 10 feminised big Bomb beans & had 100% germinated. As it’s my 1st time can anyone advise me on how long should I grow them to expect the sort of yields expected. Many thanks

Growing this currently out doors for yhe first time. Looking good so far. Still have more than 4/5 months till harvest and its huge. Growing in 150L pots with super soil an its currently well over a 1m tall looking like it will finish up around 2.5m or bigger (guesstimate) and it stinks. Really bushy, looks like i might get that 1.5kg + (was feeling optimistic about the yeld potential but looking f-ing promising so far). Really interested to see how the flowers will turn out like. Only have 2 in so cant really say much about phenos and yet to harvest so i cant comment how it smokes. Well worth giving it a go tho.
