Blueberry Haze

Another of the modern strains developed by growers in the Netherlands, Blueberry Haze is an Indica dominant hybrid created by crossing the Blueberry and Haze strains. The Blueberry strain won overall first place in the 2000 High Times Cannabis Cup and first in the Indica section.

This weed has a skunky aroma with hints of vanilla, cut grass and lemon. The flavor has similar notes with the lemon emerging quite strongly and the addition of a fruity, berry taste. The first effects of smoking are euphoric and cerebral with those feelings gradually turning to a more mellow body stone which continues for a couple of hours. In medical use, this weed can help with insomnia and appetite loss.

The plants start off a pale green but darken as the plant matures. The plants grow to about a metre tall and the tight buds are dark green with a hint of purple and orange, and red hairs over a coating of glittering crystals. THC content ranges between 12 and 16 percent.

This weed needs a fair amount of attention and growers need to think carefully about nutrition and light levels when cultivating it indoors. Flowering is nine to 10 weeks and yields can be up to 350 grams per square metre.

You can grow Blueberry Haze seeds outdoors in a Mediterranean climate with the harvest coming in late October.

Blueberry Haze requires some horticultural skill to raise successfully, but if you enjoy gardening you’ll be rewarded with a harvest of weed that has good potency and an intriguing flavor. This Blueberry Haze review recommends it.
