pineapple-express-g13-labs-marijuanaThere are several strains called Pineapple Express and this version of it, by G13 Labs is a cross between Big Bud and Skunk.  This gives it robust genetics and very respectable yields to go with a great taste and plenty of THC.

Although this strain is called, Pineapple Express and the pineapple is definitely very much there, this strain also has a decent helping of citrus lemon as well as a base of skunk pungency.  The aroma also has a touch of skunk to it although the presence of all the fruit can take the edge of it and make it more of a musky odour rather than out and out skunk.

With 20% THC, Pineapple Express certainly has what it takes to speed pain on its way and steam you out of negative emotional states and into a happy, sun-filled tropical island where only positivity, energy, inspiration and creativity are allowed.  As the initial lift gently ebbs away with the tide, you’ll find yourself luxuriating in a warm, comfortable body buzz, feeling like you’re enjoying the best of a mellow, tropical sunset.  Depending on when you choose to use Pineapple Express (it’s equally good in the daytime and in the evening), you’ll either emerge back into the day feeling like you’ve just had the ultimate power nap or just go off to sleep.

Pineapple Express will typically grow within a range of 1.2M (indoor minimum) to 2M (outdoor maximum).  If this is a bit too much for your growing space, you’ll be glad to hear that Pineapple Express is very easy to train (and if you’ve never done this before, there’s a whole lot of help on the net).  Indoors it will be ready after just 8 weeks of flowering time and can yield up to 500g/m2 and outdoors it will be ready around the middle of October and can yield up to 500g per plant.

We’ve classed Pineapple Express as moderately difficult to grow because the Sativa genetics mean it does like to grow higher than your average Indica (dominant) and since many people today have minimal growing space, this means that taller strains have to be trained.  Even though plant training is very straightforward, it’s one more thing for beginners to learn, so it may be best to start with a strain which will naturally stay more compact.  Otherwise, Pineapple Express is backed by some really robust genetics and so is nicely undemanding.
