Super Silver Haze
Review
First grown in Holland, the Super Silver Haze strain is a Sativa and Indica hybrid with Sativa dominance. The plant combines genetics from Skunk, Northern Lights and Haze.
The strain confirmed its legendary quality with a string of awards in the High Times Cannabis Cup over the years. It took first prize overall in 1998 and 1999, and third place overall in 2005 and 2007. It also claimed first prize in the Hydro Cup in 1997 and 1998, and top three placings in the Sativa Cup and People’s Cup in 2000. This awesome pedigree has made it hugely popular amongst growers.
The weed offers a sweet, smooth smoke with a fruity taste and a hint of pine and has THC levels between 15 and 18 percent. It delivers a full-body stone and a cerebral and intellectually stimulating head rush. In medical use, it can relieve pain and reduce anxiety.
Super Silver Haze seeds grow to a height of 100 to 120 centimetres and feature spreading, glossy green leaves in heavy bunches. The plant produces a multitude of heavy, dark green buds coated in crystallised resin which have a floral, sweet smell with deep skunk overtones.
This strain is especially valued for its good yields. Indoor plants using the SCROG method produce harvests of up to 450 grams per square metre, with a flowering time from nine to 12 weeks. Outdoor growing is possible in warm climates, but yields will be lower.
