Violator Kush is an Indica dominant weed created in the Netherlands by combining genetics from the mountainous Hindu Kush region and from Malana in India where premier weed is grown to create the legendary Malana Cream hashish.
Since its heritage is firmly rooted in plants often used to make hash, it’s no surprise that Violator Kush has a marked hash flavour and smell. It also displays notes of musk and spice with a hint of pepper. This is a quick-acting smoke and soon after your first toke you’ll notice the onset of a heavy body stone which can quickly lead to couchlock. Medical practitioners prescribe it for sleeplessness, nausea and stress.
Violator Kush seeds grow into short and bushy plants, seldom attaining a height of more than 50 centimetres. The large leaves are dark green and the buds are long and dense and have a covering of brown to orange hairs. The buds are very heavy – so heavy in fact that the branches may need support in case they break.
This plant does well when grown indoors using the SCROG method and it will flourish in either soil or hydro. Flowering time is eight to nine weeks and you can expect to harvest up to 500 grams per square metre from this prolific producer.
Its genetic heritage includes plants used to growing in tough, mountainous conditions, so this strain is well suited to cultivation in cooler northern climates. Make sure to plant out seedlings after the last frost has passed and you can look forward to a mid-September harvest.
Violator Kush is a powerful weed that is not too difficult to grow and you can count on achieving good yields if you look after it properly. It packs a powerful hit, and if you enjoy the typical Indica body stone, this Violator Kush review can definitely recommend this weed.
