Gorilla CBD is a 75% Indica-dominant cross between Gorilla and Dinamed Kush CBD.  The name may sound like Gorilla Glue, but it’s actually almost literally the opposite.

As its name suggests, Gorilla CBD was created for its CBD content.  There is only 7% THC, compared to 14% CBD.  In other words, the THC:CBD ratio is 2:1, which is widely regarded as one of the best medical ratios there is.

If at all possible, Gorilla CBD should be kept for use at night.  You will be couchlocked for an extended period.  There is simply no two ways about this.  You may also have the marijuana munchies.  It’s therefore a good idea to have some drinks and snacks handy.  If you want, or need, to medicate in the daytime, then you absolutely must allow sufficient recovery time before doing anything complicated, such as driving.

It’s worth noting that the THC content in Gorilla CBD is more than just an incidental result of the crossing.  It serves to provide fast and effective pain relief while the CBD gets to work.  It can also be useful for clearing mental and/or emotional negativity.

Gorilla CBD can be grow indoors and outdoors.  Indoors, the expected height would be in the region of 1.8M.  The flowering time is about 8 to 9 weeks and the yield can be up to 500 g/m2.  Outdoors, the expected height would be in the region of 2.5M.  The outdoor harvest time is around the middle of October and the yield can be up to 1Kg per plant.

The fact that Gorilla CBD is a fairly tall, photoperiod strain means that it’s probably not the best choice for a complete beginner.  Even if you can grow outside, you’ll still have to deal with a big plant with a big appetite.  It’s also important to note that Gorilla CBD really needs a warm, dry, sunny climate to grow happily out of doors.  If you live north of the Mediterranean basin, then you’ll need to pick your growing location with great care.  Alternatively, you could put your plants under glass (or just grow indoors).

On the plus side, Gorilla CBD has good resistance to mould, diseases and pests.  As always, however, this does depend on their being good ventilation in the growing space.  This means that you need to allow space for the plants to spread outwards as well as upwards.

In terms of taste and aroma, Gorilla CBD is a mixture of fuel and Kush.  It’s unusual and very intense.
