Grape Krush

Grape Krush is an Indica dominant strain which derives from the Blueberry types, themselves a hybrid of Indicas and the Sativa dominant Hazes. The strain was specially created to keep the best characteristics of Haze but to shorten the growing period and increase the yield.

It has a pungent aroma, part skunk and part tropical fruit. The flavor includes notes of wild berries, sweet fruit and musk. The high comes on quite slowly but once it arrives you’ll be feeling euphoric and stimulated, making it good for parties or just hanging out with friends. Medically, it can relieve stress and stimulate poor appetite.

The plants grow to a medium height and are quite bushy with mid-green leaves that take on a purple to blue color as the plants mature. In some cases, the leaves can take on a crinkled appearance – this is due to genetic traits rather than poor plant health. The buds are quite rounded and covered in sticky crystals and brown to orange hairs. THC levels are in the 16 to 18 percent range.

Indoors, the Grape Krush strain suits both hydro and soil mediums, although plants cultivated in soil tend to display stronger flavor. Flowering time is eight to nine weeks and you can expect harvests of 350 to 400 grams per square meter.

Grape Krush weed is quite hardy so you can grow it outdoors in northern Europe as long as it is protected from frost and winds. Harvest in the northern hemisphere comes in late September or early October.

If you’re a fan of the Sativa effects associated with the Haze strains but are looking for something that’s easier to grow and produces higher yields, put Grape Krush on your shortlist.
