As well as a hugely influential Hollywood movie, LA Confidential weed is an Indica strain developed in California by interbreeding an Afghan Indica with OG LA Affie. This weed confirmed its quality and popularity by taking second place in the Indica section of the 2005 High Times Cannabis Cup and third place in the same competition in 2004.
LA Confidential weed has an almost hash-like hit with a body stone that can lead to a prolonged period of couchlock accompanied by a trance-like high. The flavour and odour are sweet and fresh with a suggestion of pine forest and spices. In medical use, it can help with sleeping, appetite problems, and stress.
In a controlled indoor environment, LA Confidential seeds grow to a height of around 1.5 metres, although outdoors it can grow considerably taller. The plant’s broad leaves and dense buds are dark green with the buds becoming increasingly dark as they mature.
The LA Confidential strain is ideal for growing indoors in either hydro or soil mediums and it’s worth noting that it has high resistance to mould. Flowering time is seven to eight weeks. Yields vary from 300 to 500 grams per square metre.
Outdoor growing is an option in hot climates where flowering will finish by late September or early October.
Many smokers who enjoy a heavy hit akin to a hash high have LA Confidential weed near the top of their favorites list. This award-winner is also noted for its gourmet flavor and high THC content.

veg longer for better yield; better to top, since single cola dominance could lead to botrytis (bud mold) in the top bud-these buds are dense and bud rot can occur late in flowering. i use fox farms ocean forest and don’t feed the plants at all, just plain water. the last re-potting before flowering should see you through the 49-56 day flowering period.
