Warlock

A warlock is a powerful sorcerer or wizard and there’s certainly something magic about Warlock Weed. Growers in the Netherlands created this Indica dominant combination of Skunk #1 and an Afghani Indica. Warlock’s special characteristics and qualities were recognized in 1997 when it placed third overall in the High Times Cannabis Cup as well as third in the BIO section.

The Warlock strain has a powerful aroma with notes of freshly dug earth and skunk. Its flavor includes fresh fruit with a hint of sweet and sour. The high is balanced by a combination of a physical stone with stimulating mental effects. A couple of tokes of Warlock weed will set you up well for a relaxing woodland stroll or getting together with friends. Medically, this strain can help with poor appetite and stress.

Although it’s an Indica dominant strain, Warlock seeds produce plants that grow quite tall and display long branches with few leaves, giving it more of a Sativa appearance. The buds are quite elongated and covered in light brown hairs. THC content ranges between 15 to 18 percent.

The Warlock strain is quite easy to grow indoors using any of the common cultivation methods. The one thing to watch out for is that it can stretch a lot and so needs careful trimming and pruning to keep it within bounds. Flowering time is eight to nine weeks and yields are in the 400 to 500 grams per square meter range.

Unless you live somewhere with Mediterranean climate, you’ll need to choose a sheltered spot to plant Warlock seeds, preferably one that gets at least six hours of direct sunshine a day. Outdoor harvest time in the northern hemisphere is mid-October.

Warlock weed is very popular with gardeners because it’s quite easy to grow and it yields a decant crop of good strength. Smokers like it for its well balanced high that won’t leave you lying on the sofa.
