Trippy Gorilla

Sativa dominant Trippy Gorilla is bred from Gorilla Glue #4 and BigHead #1.

The name Gorilla Glue #4 should give you an immediate hint that this strain is seriously strong. Use it with respect whether you need it for relief from the sort of pain which is too much for other strains to handle, the treatment of serious emotional issues such as depression or recreationally for a high which takes you right up into the atmosphere. Beginners should take extreme care with this variety and start with really small doses.

The taste will please anyone who likes their weed fruity and fresh. The flavour and aroma combine citrus which is tangy but still sweet, together with pine for a crisp, menthol edge. If you liked Super Lemon Haze or Buzz ‘n’ Smiles but want to ramp up the potency even further, then Trippy Gorilla could be the strain for you. We should point out that in spite of the genetics, the

taste is without any noticeable element of diesel. Whether or not this is good news will depend on your thoughts on diesel.

In terms of effect, as we’ve mentioned already, this is one potent strain. If you’re after the ultimate THC hit then Gorilla Bomb may be a better choice, as it is a cross between Gorilla Glue #4 and THC Bomb, but Trippy Gorilla is more than strong enough to tackle all but the worst of pain head on and win. It’s also great for emotional conditions. Recreational users should be clear about the fact that this is a strain which means business. Even though it’s a high THC strain, this one is probably best kept for the evening or at least for when you have plenty of recovery time. The high is euphoric and strong enough to keep you firmly locked to your couch (or bed).

Overall this is an easy strain to grow, just be prepared to do a lot of feeding and, if you’re in limited space, a fair bit of plant training for which you’ll need decent equipment to tackle the resinous buds. If you’re up to meeting those requirements, Trippy Gorilla will be ready indoors in about 8 weeks and outdoors around September/October. Yields are a very acceptable 600 to 750 gr/m2.
