Bubblegum Kush
Bubblegum Kush is an Indica-dominant cross between Bubblegum and an unknown variety of Kush. It’s a great choice for people who want their medicine to come with a decent spoonful of sugar.
Although Bubblegum Kush is 80% Indica, its average THC content is about 18%. It also has about 0.12% CBD. In other words, it combines a reasonable degree of potency with great flexibility. The THC content is enough to offer meaningful pain relief for a wide range of conditions. It’s also enough to treat moderate appetite loss. The Indica genetics help to keep the high mellow. Instead of a massive energy rush, you’ll basically feel like you on your very best day. One of those days when everything is going right for you. This feeling will then ease smoothly into a relaxing body buzz. This will make you feel deeply comfortable. It is, however, highly unlikely to pin you to your couch. As always, however, make sure your concentration has returned before doing anything complicated, especially driving.
Indoors Bubblegum Kush needs around 8 weeks of flowering time and the outdoor harvest is in early October. Plants grow to an average height of 1.5M indoors and about 1.8M outdoors.
When grown in soil, Bubblegum Kush can yield up to 500g/m2 indoors and 550g per plant outdoors. This is, however, a lot of scope to increase this with care and plant training. For maximum yields, grow Bubblegum Kush in a sea/screen-of-green in a hydroponic setup. This can generate yields of up to 700g/m2. Alternatively, it can be used to shorten the growing time by up to a week.
If all this sounds far too complicated, there is good news. Bubblegum Kush is very beginner-friendly. Complete beginners may want to start with an autoflowering strain. This will avoid you having to manage light cycles. If, however, you’re fine with grow lights, then you should be fine with Bubblegum Kush. It has good resistance to mould, diseases and pests. It’s also very tolerant of beginners learning as they go along. The key point is to remember to leave plenty of room for plants to spread outwards as well as upwards. This promotes good airflow, which prevents a lot of problems.
In terms of taste and aroma, Bubblegum Kush does initially taste very much of bubblegum. It’s gloriously candy sweet although there’s also a touch of fruitiness. The Kush spices do, however, make themselves felt underneath all this. They add depth, warmth and interest.
