The Ultimate seeds were created by well-respected Dutch cannabis breeding outfit Dutch Passion, and they’ve kept its precise origins a mystery. We do know that it’s a well-balanced hybrid of Sativa and Indica strains, almost an exactly a 50-50 split.

The Ultimate cannabis has an aroma that will make you think of tropical fruits and the taste has notes of sweet berries, hash and flowers. The high combines the best of Sativa and Indica. It starts off as a soaring euphoria then settles into a powerful physical stone, leaving you relaxed but not sedated. In medical use, The Ultimate can help with muscular pain, poor appetite and sleeplessness.

The Ultimate seeds produce short plants, between 60 and 75 centimetres tall. Both the leaves and the dense, heavy buds are increasingly covered in a layer of sticky crystals as the plants mature. Sometimes, the foliage and buds take on a blue or reddish hue as the plants near harvest time. THC levels range from 18 to 21 percent.

The Ultimate weed has been specifically bred to produce optimum results with indoor growing, so outdoor growing cannot really be recommended. Experienced growers favour the SOG method for this strain. Flowering time is from eight to 10 weeks, and buds increase markedly in size during the last two weeks of growth. The plants like quite heavy doses of nutrients and the buds can get so big that they will need support to avoid the stems breaking. Yields are 400 to 500 grams per square metre.
