Heavy Duty Fruity

Heavy Duty Fruity is one of those strains that have lots of useful information in the name. Its high THC level means it’s definitely heavy duty, and its flavor is excitingly fruity. This is a Sativa and Indica hybrid created on America’s West Coast by interbreeding Killing Garberville, Seattle Big Bud and Mendocino Hash Plant.

The Heavy Duty Fruity strain brings on a quick and powerful hit that will leave you lying on the sofa. The weed has an incredibly fruity flavor with notes of citrus and berries and the very strong smell has similar characteristics. This weed is widely prescribed by West Coast dispensaries for appetite stimulation, insomnia and pain relief.

These plants grow to a medium height of between 120 and 160 centimetres and the exceptionally large buds have a coating of white hairs. The dark green leaves take on a purple hue as the plant approaches harvest time. THC content is on the high side.

Heavy Duty Fruity does well when grown indoors with hydroponics. Flowering time is eight to nine weeks and yields are in the 400 to 600 grams per square metre range. Boost the size of the buds by feeding the plants with liquid nutrients.

Outdoor growing is also possible if you pick a sunny, sheltered spot for the plants and they should be ready for harvest in mid-October.

This Heavy Duty Fruity review recommends it for mokers who like a heavy stone and a fragrant fruity flavor should. One thing to remember is that this strain has a very strong aroma whilst growing, so if discretion is important you may need to take measures to mask Heavy Duty Fruity’s pungent odour.
