Oasis
Review
Oasis marijuana is derived from the Northern Lights #2 strain, meaning it’s Indica dominant with most of its genetic material from the Afghani section of the Hindu Kush Mountains. The Indica dominance is complemented by a smaller contribution from a Sativa type, probably from Thailand.
Oasis weed has the aroma of fresh earth and pine forests while the flavor continues those themes with the addition of exotic spice notes. The high is typically Indica, a leisurely physical stone that will leave you relaxed and smiling. It’s not as powerful as some Indicas, so you won’t find yourself glued to the sofa. Medical practitioners recommend this weed for stress, poor appetite and sleeplessness.
Oasis seeds produce plants that grow between 60 and 80 centimetres tall and are bushy with robust branches. The buds are heavy and roundish and display a layer of glittering crystals. THC content has been measured at 12.3 percent.
Indoors Oasis grows well with the SOG growing method and it’s equally happy in hydro or soil. Flowering starts after three or four weeks and lasts for between eight to 10 weeks. Yields vary from 400 to 450 grams per square metre.
Oasis will only thrive outdoors with plenty of warm sunshine, so it should be cultivated in a climate akin to the Mediterranean. Harvest comes in late October or early November in the northern hemisphere.
If you’re planning to grow indoors, Oasis marijuana is easy to cultivate and offers a dependable harvest as well as good resistance to pests and mold. If you enjoy a classic Indica stone that’s relaxing rather than overwhelming, try growing some Oasis.
