KC 45
Review
KC 45 is not one of your run-of-the-mill strains – it’s an autoflowering type created by one of the lesser known Dutch horticulturists, KC Brains, by crossing a Brazilian Sativa with a Russian Ruderalis.
The KC 45 strain has a herbal aroma with notes of citrus and the flavor includes hints of lemon and spices. The rapid-acting hit is initially soaring and euphoric before settling down to a relaxed but active high, making this weed a good choice for daytime smoking. It’s not noted for its medicinal properties but can help people looking for an energy boost.
KC 45 seeds produce tall plants, as high as two metres, and they have a profusion of branching side stems. The buds are elongated and cone shaped while the overall growing pattern of the plant is Christmas-tree like. THC levels are in the medium range.
This strain was bred with outdoor growing in mind so indoor growing, although possible, is not really recommended. If you do grow it indoors, its autoflowering properties mean that you won’t have to vary your lighting to induce flowering which lasts for seven to eight weeks.
Outdoors, plant it in well-turned soil enriched with an organic compost to get the best results. The Ruderalis genetics of this strain mean you can grow it outdoors even in the cooler temperatures of northern Europe. You can expect to harvest in mid-September and yields can be up to 1.5 kilos per plant.
If you’re looking for something a little different and you want to grow outdoors, you should seriously consider KC 45. Many smokers also appreciate the clear-headed, energetic high.

I just got done growing the KC 45 and it has enormous buds on it. I had gotten about half way up the plant I got the main stem a little twisted and it grew the biggest knot I have ever seen on a marijuana plant. I think I got about maybe four ounces off it. Not really a big bloomer. The plant it self got really tall about six and half feet tall.
