Passion #1
Review
The precise origins of the indica dominant Passion #1 seeds are unknown but we can pinpoint its origins to California in the 1970s. From there, it made its way across the Atlantic and settled in the Netherlands where it quickly established a reputation as one of the best strains for outdoor growing in northern Europe.
Passion #1 has a fruity, fresh-earth aroma while the flavor includes notes of hash and citrus fruit. When you smoke it, this weed hits quickly with a euphoric high that’s relaxing without being couchlocking. Medically, this weed can be used to alleviate muscular pain and to improve poor appetite.
Passion #1 seeds produce plants that typically grow to a height of two metres although they can shoot up to taller than three metres in the right circumstances. The plants have broad, mid-green leaves and the buds are elongated and covered in sticky resin. THC levels can vary from 15 to 20 percent depending on the growing conditions.
This is really not a plant to grow indoors. You can start the seeds indoors, but they should then be planted either outdoors directly into well-conditioned soil or in pots filled with rich compost in a greenhouse. Flowering time is six weeks and harvest comes in late September or early October. You can expect yields of between 250 and 750 grams per plant. Growers who have a pressing need for speed may have to settle for as little as 200 gm per m2, whereas those who can give this strain a couple of extra weeks (and optimum conditions) can be rewarded with a harvest of as much as 750 gm per m2. Realistically you’re only going to get this type of yield if you can give Passion #1 plenty of sunshine and plenty of food and make sure you take care of your growing fundamentals. On the plus side, assuming you have proper ventilation in place and are managing everything correctly, you should have very little reason to worry about the likes of pests, diseases and mould as Passion #1 is know as a robust and stable strain.
Any decent Passion #1 review should highlight that this is a prime strain for outdoor growing in the cooler climes of northern Europe. Other good reasons to cultivate the easy-to-grow Passion #1 seeds include its high yields and potency.
