Zkittlez – MSNL
Indica dominant (60/40) Zkittlez is a cross between two of the freshest and fruitiest strains around, Indica dominant Grape Ape and Sativa dominant Grapefruit.
Zkittlez wasn’t just developed to make your mouth water, its THC and CBD levels make it an excellent choice for a wide range of conditions and it’s a robust and straightforward grow.
With 18% to 21% THC, Zkittlez is a medium-strength strain by modern standards, but it’s still quite strong enough to provide fast and effective pain relief to all but the most crippling of conditions. What’s particularly interesting about Zkittlez is that the high combines the best of Sativa and Indica qualities. On the one hand, you get the clarity and focus you’d expect from a good Sativa, while on the other hand you get the feeling of calmness and mellowness you’d expect from a quality Indica. Speaking of Indicas, Zkittlez has moderate CBD, so while this strain is probably still best kept for evening use, it wouldn’t be out of the question to use it in the day, just as long as you allowed yourself plenty of time to get back in synch with reality.
Zkittlez will grow happily indoors or outdoors in a warm, dry, sunny, climate. If you have the warmth and sunshine but not the dryness, then you could look at a greenhouse grow. Indoors it will need 7 to 8 weeks of flowering and outdoors, it will be ready to harvest around the end of September. Zkittlez has a growing range of about 1M (indoor minimum) to 1.8M (outdoor maximum). While its genetics are balanced, its growing style is definitely Indica, namely compact and bushy. Indoor growers can expect up to 500g/m2 and outdoor growers up to 450g per plant.
As Zkittlez is currently only available as a photoperiod strain, growers will need to be able to handle light cycles if they are growing indoors. Ventilation and odour control are also very important. Otherwise, this is a nice, undemanding strain, which could be easily managed by complete beginners.
Overall Zkittlez requires relatively little in the way of effort for some of the best-tasting marijuana around. The flavour is just bursting with fruity goodness! The fresh zinginess of citrus and grapefruit is balanced with the sweetness of tropical fruit, grapes and berries. Interestingly, the aroma has a herbal edge and a touch of earthiness to ground it, but for the most part, it too is simply full of fruitiness.
