Acid Dough
Acid Dough is a cross between Lilly and OG Badazz. Lilly is a cross between Jauja and Queen Mother, while OG Badazz was created by crossing Original OG (not to be confused with OG Kush) with Afghan Kush and then crossing the result with Urkel, so both parent strains are full of landrace genetics which always augurs well for overall robustness.
Even though Acid Dough is 80% Sativa, it actually has a fairly moderate 18% THC and minimal CBD, which points to it being a great daytime treatment for mild to moderate conditions. The high is energetic, creative and motivating and the 20% Indica genetics mean that it is followed by a short period of deep relaxation, which is not so much couch lock as a power nap, which will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to face the day ahead, although, as always, make sure you’re fully awake and focused before doing anything complicated.
In principle, Acid Dough can be grown indoors or outdoors, however it does have a fairly lengthy growth cycle, requiring 9 to 10 weeks of flowering indoors and having an outdoor harvest of around mid October. This means that outside of the Mediterranean basin it’s probably best grown in a greenhouse or indoors. The good news is that Acid Dough does tend to stay fairly compact when grown indoors, in fact it can even stay as short as 1M without any training whatsoever. It doesn’t necessarily grow all that tall out of doors, it may stay as short as 1.5M, however, if growing conditions are good then Acid Dough will be happy to make the most of them and can grow close to 3M in height.
The height of marijuana plants obviously influences the amount of bud they can produce and with that in mind indoor growers can reasonably expect to collect around 500g/m2 or more and outdoor growers should expect at least 500g per plant and could harvest a whole lot more if the plants are allowed to grow to their full potential. If your plan is to collect as much bud as you possibly can, then remember to allow space for your plants to spread horizontally as well as vertically. Conversely, if you have limited growing space then the good news is that Acid Dough is nicely responsive to plant training.
In terms of taste and aroma, Acid Dough is nothing like you might expect from the name. There a deep notes of diesel, earth and wood, topped off by fruits, especially pineapple and finished with a dash of spiciness.
