Auto Bluetooth

Indica-dominant Auto Bluetooth is a cross between Auto Berry and Super Sweet Tooth, hence the “blue” refers to the flavour rather than to the colour.  It is one of the many modern strains designed to please medical users who simply want a hassle-free way to grow their own prescription.

As the name suggests, this is one fruity strain and while it’s definitely sweet, there’s a bit of citrus in there too and a deep base of earth and skunk to keep it grounded.  The aroma is reminiscent of being in a high-quality sweet shop.

Medically, this strain packs a surprisingly-strong punch for such a quick-growing variety.  With average THC being in the region of 15% to 18% there’s a decent amount of fast-acting pain relief along with a high, which is bright and lively rather than taking you on a trip to outer space.  Fundamentally, however, this strain is still an Indica at heart, so you’ll find yourself gliding gently down from your high, into that stress- and pain-dissolving, full-body stone.  Auto Bluetooth is a great option for dealing with mild insomnia and is probably best kept for night-time, or at least evening-time use.  If, however, you really want to use it in the day-time, you can probably do so as long as you’re prepared for some extended couch-lock and allow for plenty of recovery time, at least before doing anything complicated (particularly driving).

While there are certainly more powerful strains out there, the whole point of Auto Bluetooth is that it offers a lot of taste and medical benefits in a compact and easy-to-grow package.  If you’re prepared to put a little effort into plant training, you could feasibly keep Auto Bluetooth down to about 60cm, left to its own devices, it will probably max out at about a metre.  Part of the reason for its small size is because it can finish its growth cycle in about 8 weeks, although you may get a little more yield if you leave it for another week or two.  At about 200-300 g/m2 there are far higher-yielding strains out there, but you’ll find it hard to find one which is easier to grow or more resilient to diseases and pests.
