OG Ghost Train Haze is a balanced Sativa and Indica hybrid with the Sativa genetics slightly dominant. This weed is a cross between two strains, Original Ghost OG and Nevil’s Wreck. OG Ghost Train Haze is notable for its very high level of THC, a whopping 25 percent.
The OG Ghost Train Haze strain has a fresh pine-forest smell and the flavor includes notes of lemon, aniseed and spices. The high combines the heady euphoria of a Sativa with the powerful body hit of an Indica. This is an intensely strong weed, so inexperienced smokers should proceed with caution. Medical practitioners recommend this weed for muscular pain, poor appetite and insomnia.
OG Ghost Train Haze seeds produce plants of medium height with mint green leaves and dense, heavy buds covered in orange to amber hairs. THC level has been measured at 25 percent in the lab.
You can grow this plant indoors using the SOG method, and it’s equally happy cultivated in a soil or hydro growing medium. Flowering time is 10 to 12 weeks and harvests are in the moderate range.
Outdoors, it needs lots of warm sunshine to thrive so it’s best grown somewhere with a Mediterranean climate. Harvest in the northern hemisphere comes in late October.
This strain’s lower than average yields and its long flowering time mean it’s not one for commercial growers. But for connoisseurs with patience, OG Ghost Train Haze will produce a high quality crop of extremely potent weed.
