Pure Kush is an Indica strain that was launched on to the market in the Netherlands by the legendary Greenhouse Seeds company in 2011. They took a particular phenotype of the renowned OG Kush strain. Like all genuine Kush types, it has its origins in the Hindu Kush region, a Himalayan mountain range on the borders between Pakistan and Afghanistan
The Pure Kush strain has a pungent skunk aroma tempered by notes of pine and citrus. The flavour is much the same, although you’ll also detect some sweetness. It gives exactly the high you’d expect from an Indica – a heavy body stone, euphoria and a strong tendency to couchlock. A great smoke for staying in with a movie, not so good if you want to get out and about. Medically, this weed is favored for its effective pain-killing properties.
Pure Kush grows as a short, bushy plant with lots of side stems and medium green leaves with broad serrated fingers. The buds are dense, sticky with resin and light green with some orange hairs. THC content has been measured at 19.35 percent.
The typically Indica growing habits of this weed, short and branching, mean that it does well with the SOG method. Flowering lasts about nine weeks and yields can be exceptionally high, as much as 900 grams per square metre.
The Pure Kush strain has hardy qualities and so can be grown in northern European countries as long as it’s planted in a sunny, sheltered spot. Your crop should be ready for harvest in the first week of October and yields are up to 900 grams per plant.

Another poorly written article. Please check your facts this site is full of made up stuff. Go watch the greenhouse vids man pure kush is a indica dim kush, nothing like OG Kush have you seen a og? They don’t look anything alike.
Also greenhouse pirated the name there is a old pure kush cut from California. Nothing to do with theirs. I’ve grown most of their gear some great some sucks and pure kush sucks.
900 grams per m2 is highly variable and terrible to quote something most growers will never hit.
This entire site is very inaccurate. The format is excellent and if you guys actually wrote legit pieces after doing a little research this site could be very valuable one day.
I’m pretty disappointed it’s clear this site is mostly for fun for stone’s to write and yuck about stuff not serious growers… if you guys writing this are growers check your facts gosh I mean I’ve only been doing this 10 years some of my friends been doing this as long as I’ve been alive ad they would say the same thing with one more… get it together
