Rocklock

Rocklock is an Indica dominant weed and it gets its name from the two strains that it was created from, Warlock and Rockstar. Warlock, it’s worth noting, took third place in the High Times cannabis Cup back in 1997. This strain was specifically created with indoor growing in mind.

The Rocklock strain has an earthy, skunk smell and once you light it up you’ll notice a refreshing sweet and sour taste mixed with notes of fruit and spices. The high is a combination of powerful physical effects that stop just short of couchlock and mental stimulation, which means that you’ll feel extra stoned yet still alert. Medically, this cannabis is recommended for muscular pain and poor appetite.

The plants grow to a medium height and have a profusion of fresh green leaves which often take on a purple hue as the plants mature. The buds are large and heavy, covered in a coating of sticky resin and display brown to orange hairs. THC levels are in rate in the high range.

Rocklock weed thrives in a soil growing medium combined with the SOG growing regime and a conservative use of extra nutrients. Flowering time is seven to eight weeks and you can expect to harvest up to 600 grams per square metre in the right conditions. This strain was bred for indoor growing, so planting outdoors is not recommended.
