Herijuana

Herijuana is an Indica dominant weed produced by crossing two strains, an outdoor type from Kentucky called New Haven and one from Humboldt County in California named Petrolia Headstash, a long-time favorite of the West Coast medical marijuana scene.

The Herijuana strain has a complex bouquet and flavor with notes of spice, sandalwood, coffee, and nutmeg. The high is powerful and strongly on the Indica side. Just two or three tokes will leave you so relaxed you won’t want to move far from the sofa. It is definitely an evening rather than a daytime smoke. Medically, it’s recommended for muscular pain, insomnia and poor appetite.

Herijuana seeds produce plants that grow to around 120 centimetres tall and display a strongly branching growing pattern. The golf ball shaped buds appear all over the stems and are dense with a covering of sticky crystals. When night time temperatures drop during the growing period, leaves can take on a purplish hue. THC levels have been measured at the BudGenius laboratory in Santa Barbara at between 13.4 and 15.7 percent.

Indoors, plants do well with the SCROG method and it has a good resistance to mold. Flowering time is seven to nine weeks and harvests are around 500 grams per square metre.

Outdoors, it thrives in a Mediterranean climate or warmer and produces between one and 1.5 kilograms per plant.
