The Casey Jones strain is a Sativa dominant weed created by interbreeding Trainwreck, Thai and Sour Diesel strains. Casey Jones was a train driver killed in an infamous train crash in 1900, and we can hazard a guess that the name of the strain was suggested by the fact that one of the genetic parents is Trainwreck.

This strain exhibits a skunky aroma with a hint of spiciness and the flavor includes floral notes and a hint of spice, plus a slightly sour undertone reminiscent of lemons. Casey Jones weed gives a typical Sativa high, which is buzzing and active. It’s a great smoke if you’ve got some work to do, or if you’re planning an evening out with friends. In medical use, this cannabis can help to alleviate stress and poor appetite.

Casey Jones seeds produce plants are in the medium height range and they tend to produce long branches with slender palmate leaves in a vivid green. The buds are dense and dark green with a coating of silver crystals and orange hairs. THC content ranges from 15 to 18 percent.
