Purple Cream
Review
Purple Cream is another product of California’s medical marijuana and cannabis club scene. Its antecedents are mysterious but this Indica-dominant strain almost certainly includes genetic material from the Kush types of Afghanistan and northern India, and from the modern Skunk strains.
Purple Cream weed has a pungent skunky smell, although the flavour is smooth rather than acrid as some skunks can be. The taste also has notes of fresh berries and exotic spices. When it comes to the effects, this strain’s Indica background is obvious, since the high is powerfully physical and sedating. A few tokes of this, and you’re very likely to find yourself couchlocked for at least a couple of hours. Medically, this weed can help with muscular pain and insomnia.
The plants grow to a medium height and are quite bushy with lots of side stems. The buds are dense and roundish in shape, with a sticky coating of resin. The leaves and the buds take on an increasingly purplish hue as the plants near maturity and THC content has been measured at 23.6 percent.
Grown indoors, the Purple Cream strain is well-suited to the SOG growing method and thrives in either soil or hydro mediums. Flowering time is average and yields are in the medium range.
For outdoor growing, you’ll need to live somewhere that’s at least as warm as the Mediterranean to get good results. Harvest time in the northern hemisphere is in early October.
This plant offers a smooth smoke and exceptionally high THC levels. Experienced smokers who love an Indica hit will be delighted with Purple Cream, novice tokers should approach with caution.
