A four-way cross between Northern Lights, Hash Plant, Afghani SA and Canadian Ortega. Black Domino has some classic genetics in its background and therefore offers reliability, as well as solid yields, medical benefits and a great taste.
Although Black Domina is pure Indica, it has an impressive 19% to 22% THC. That’s enough to provide meaningful pain relief for a variety of medical conditions. Also enough to give you a real boost out of any negative emotional states. The Indica genetics mean that the high is mellow, chilled and relaxing rather than energy-packed. As the high gently ebbs away, you’ll find yourself easing into the supreme comfort of an Indica full-body stone. Which soothes away any remaining physical pain or mental cares. This strain is probably best suited to night-time use. However, we’d say it wouldn’t be out of the question to use Black Domino in the daytime. Just as long as you held off doing anything complicated before you regain your focus.
Black Domino has an indoor flowering time of 8 to 10 weeks and an outdoor harvest period of late September. This is great news for growers in more northern climates. Experienced growers who are comfortable with sea-of-green growing, could harvest as much as 500g/m2,. But even beginners could be looking at up to 400g/m2. Outdoor growers can expect around 400g per plant, or possibly a bit more.
This is a pretty good return, given that Black Domino is very much a low-maintenance strain. Indoor growers will be happy to hear that it has a growing range of about 1M to 1.8M. Tending to stay on the smaller side indoors. It’s also very responsive to plant training if you need to keep it low profile. Outdoor growers will be happy to hear that Black Domino has above-average tolerance of cooler temperatures, inherited from its various parents. Its compact bushiness also gives it some protection from the wind, but you will still need to plant it somewhere sheltered and, above all, dry. In either case Black Domino is packed full of landrace genetics. This makes the strain very robust and undemanding, with good resistance to mould, diseases and pests. Those with little to no experience of gardening should be fine with Black Domino as their first marijuana grow. Also anyone looking to move on from autoflowering strains should have no problems with this strain.
As you may have guessed from the genetic profile, the taste and aroma of Black Domino is mainly a combination of skunk and hash. Although some people detect a slight hint of fuel. Buds are thickly covered with resin, so you should expect to have to use a grinder if you want to smoke or vape. Alternatively, you can use Black Domino to make exquisite hash.
