Big Bruce
Big Bruce is a cross between Bruce Banner #3 x Critical Kush. It’s known for its “hulking” yields and “knockout” THC content.
You can expect Big Bruce to have at least 22% THC. It’s far from unusual for it to reach 27% THC and it can even go beyond. Basically, if you need a strain to crush severe pain, then Big Bruce could be your new best friend. Treat it with respect though. The high is similarly powerful. It will deal with the most negative of emotional states. As the high ebbs, you’ll begin to feel the effect of the 0.08% average CBD. This will bring on a light body stone. You’re unlikely to be couchlocked. You will, however, definitely be far too comfortable to want to get up. Be smart and be prepared with some snacks and water. This sort of level of THC means that Big Bruce is going to bring on a big case of the marijuana munchies so be ready for them.
Overall, Big Bruce is generally best used in the daytime. We do, however, think it could be feasibly used at night. Basically, we think the CBD content will relax you enough to let you get some sleep. That being so, people using this strain during the day should allow themselves plenty of recovery time. In particular, you’ll want to make sure you’re fully refocused before doing anything complicated, like driving.
The taste of Big Bruce can be best described as “Diesel meets Kush”. You’ll probably notice the diesel first. The Kush spices can take a bit of time to develop. Be patient, however, and you’ll be rewarded with a rich, full-bodied flavour.
As you probably guessed, Big Bruce is a Sativa dominant. The good news is, it isn’t actually that big. You’re looking at an average height of 1.8M, maybe a bit more outdoors. Admittedly this is a bit taller than the average, modern Indica. It is, however, very reasonable for a Sativa dominant. Big Bruce is also a very flexible guy. In other words, this strain is very responsive to plant training. This can be handy if you need to keep its height down. It can also be a way to increase its (already hefty) yields.
Speaking of yields, indoor growers can expect up to 650g/m2. Outdoor growers can expect at least 650g per plant. If you’re growing indoors remember to leave plenty of space for each plant. They need room to spread outwards as well as upwards. If you’re growing outdoors, remember these plants will need to be kept warm and dry into October.
