Bruce Banner 3
Bruce Banner 3 is a cross between Colorado Ghost OG and Strawberry Diesel. It can really produce some “hulking” yields of highest-quality marijuana with potent medical benefits.
This strain has 80% Sativa genetics, so it may not come as a surprise that it can have up to 25% THC, but what may, perhaps, be somewhat unexpected is the fact that Bruce Banner 3 also has 1% CBD.
The THC content makes itself felt first. It punches away physical pain and negative emotional states and replaces them with pain-free positivity and energy. As the initial head-buzz fades, it will be replaced by a deep, superbly-comfortable, full-body stone. This will keep you beautifully couch-locked (or very close to it) so be prepared with some snacks and drinks and then allow yourself to drift off into the sweetest of dreams.
As you will have gathered from the previous comments, Bruce Banner 3 is definitely geared towards night-time use. If you must use it during the day, please ensure that you can concentrate properly before doing anything complicated, especially driving.
In theory, Bruce Banner 3 can grow both indoors and outdoors. In practice outdoor grows may be easier as this strain can grow very tall. Indoors, it can reach a good two metres during its 8 to 10 weeks of flowering time. Outdoors, it can almost reach almost four metres. The challenge with an outdoor grow is that Bruce Banner 3 needs warm, dry, sunny weather right up to its harvest period, which is late September to early October.
Indoor growing presents several challenges. First of all, you’ll probably need to use some plant training. Even if you have plenty of vertical space, you’ll need to make sure that your lights can reach all the branches. You are also going to need the judgement to feed a big appetite without overdoing the nutrients and water.
On the plus side, big plants have lots of space for bountiful bud and which is part of the reason why Bruce Banner 3 can yield up to 600g/m2 indoors or 1Kg per plant outdoors. As an added bonus, the Kush genetics deliver a lot of resistance to mould, diseases and pests.
Overall we’d say complete beginners should only try Bruce Banner 3 if they are able to grow it outdoors. In general, however, this strain is fairly easy to grow if you’re comfortable dealing with large plants.

Hi, 8 weeks is normally a good recommended time to flips yours plants from veg to flowering, this will give the plants a good amount of time to grow and ready themselves. With this though you will want to be aware of the plant size, obviously the longer they are in veg the taller they will grow. And you do not want to get to the point during flowering where your plant is beginning to outgrow its environment. In terms of light cycle, in order to begin the flowering phase you will need to change the cycle to 12/12.
Hi i have bb#3 fem, its been 4 weeks now its about 5 inches tall i have it on 17/7 light cycle, my question is when will it start flowering? 8 weeks? And when it does start flowering what light cycle do i use? Do i just leave it at 17/7? Im a noob btw, thank you
