American Dream
Review
This Indica-dominant American Dream marijuana is a cross between Afghani Skunk and Sativas from Jamaica and Hawaii. One account has it that the name comes from all the work that went into producing this weed. At the heart of the American dream is the idea that hard work leads to reward, and this strain certainly offers rich rewards to successful growers.
American Dream marijuana has the fresh-earth smell of skunk while the taste has notes of tropical fruit and spice, as well as a hint of hash. When you smoke it, you’ll experience a leisurely body hit accompanied by an uplifting cerebral high. This is not a weed that will leave you glued to the sofa. In medical use, American Dream can help with stress and muscular pain.
The plants grow to a medium height of between 100 and 125 centimetres and the broad, jungle-green leaves are supported on stout sidestems. The plant produces a prolific amount of buds which are dark green, dense and sticky. The THC level has been measured at 13.8 percent in the lab.
Indoors, American Dream weed thrives with the SOG growing method and it’s happy in hydro or soil. Flowering time is seven to eight weeks and yields are on the high side.
Outdoors, the American Dream strain does well in a climate at least as warm as the Mediterranean where it can yield up to 500 grams per plant.
American Dream marijuana offers above average yields and a stimulating high that avoids the couchlock that some Indicas deliver, making it good for daytime and evening smoking.
