Auto AK 47

Auto AK 47 is a hybrid of Sativa, Indica and Ruderalis, created in the Netherlands by crossing the original AK 47 and the Lowryder strain. This genetic heritage means that the plants are short, autoflowering and mature quickly. The plant retains many of the best characteristics of the legendary AK 47 strain, twice an award winner in the High Times Cannabis Cup competition.

It has a strong skunky smell and taste with fruit notes and the hit is well balanced with a good combination of cerebral stimulation and body stone. Medically, it can help with stress, insomnia and poor appetite.

The plants are exceptionally short, reaching a height of between 30 and 50 centimetres. They grow with a strong fruity smell and they’re a medium green in colour with a coating of glittering resin crystals on the buds. THC content ranges from 10 to 15%, depending on growing conditions.

Indoors, it will be ready to harvest in as little as 10 weeks, with flowering starting after two weeks. As an autoflowering strain, there’s no need to vary the light cycle. For best results, set the lights for 20 hours on and four hours off. Indoor yields can be as high as 40 grams per plant.

Auto AK 47 seeds also do well outdoors, even in cooler climates. Plant after the risk of frost has passed, and in a decent summer you should be able to get two harvests. Yields are up to 30 grams per plant.

Auto AK 47’s diminutive size makes it a great choice if you have limited growing space – even a container on a balcony will do. It’s easy to grow and thanks to its AK 47 parent, it delivers a potent high.
