Champagne Kush Review
Review
Champagne Kush is a balanced hybrid of Indica and Sativa genetics. Its parent strains are Hash Plant, Kush and a Burmese strain and its origins are in the thriving horticultural scene in California.
The Champagne Kush strain has a sweetish aroma with floral notes and the flavour includes citrus and grape tones, reminiscent of champagne. The high, which lasts from 60 to 90 minutes, is a stimulating buzz which is good for socialising and creative activities. In fact, the effect is rather like drinking a glass of champagne. The energising qualities of this weed make it ideal for daytime use. Medically, it can alleviate mild muscular pain and poor appetite.
You can expect it to grow to between 100 and 150 centimetres tall with vibrant green leaves. The buds are quite dense, pale green with a hint of yellow, and covered in light coloured hairs and frosty crystals. THC content has been measured at 15 percent in the lab.
The Champagne Kush strain is best grown indoors unless you live somewhere with a climate at least as warm as the Mediterranean in summer. Indoors, the plants do well in soil or hydro. Flowering comes at nine to 10 weeks and yields can be as high as 300 grams per square metre. Outdoor harvests come in late September or early October.
Champagne Kush offers a good balance between the stimulating qualities of Sativa and the more sedative characteristics of Indica. Its grape flavour will remind you of champagne, and the high will put a broad smile on your face.
