Cali Orange
Review
Cali Orange, or California Orange to give its full name, has been on the scene since 1980 and it’s a balanced Indica and Sativa hybrid. The precise nature of its parents is unknown, but it’s said to have been bred in California with outdoor growing in mind although it’s also good to grow indoors in cooler climates.
The Cali Orange strain has a sweetish aroma with notes of citrus and the flavor will remind you of orange zest. The high is uplifting and quite clear; this isn’t a strain that leaves you sprawled on the couch so it’s a good daytime smoke. Medical practitioners recommend this weed for poor appetite and stress.
The plants attain a height of between 120 and 200 centimetres and have an average leaf to bud ratio. The buds are cone shaped and covered in orange to pink hairs and sticky resin. THC levels are in the eight to 15 percent range.
Indoors, it thrives with the SOG growing method and it’s equally happy in soil or hydro. Flowering time is eight to ten weeks and each square metre of growing area will yield from 400 to 500 grams.
Outdoors, the plants really needs a warm sunny climate like that of the Mediterranean. Harvest time comes in late October and each plant will produce around 500 grams.
No Cali Orange review can fail to mention that this weed is quite easy to grow so it’s suitable for beginners as well as experienced horticulturists.
Cali Orange produces good yields and its orange citrus flavour makes it a favorite with connoisseurs.
