Orange Crush
Review
Orange Crush marijuana is a Sativa dominant weed and the product of crossbreeding the California Orange and Blueberry strains. California Orange is from America’s West Coast while Blueberry is a highly respected strain that came first overall in the 2000 High Times Cannabis Cup and went on to win two more awards in the 2001 competition.
Orange Crush bud doesn’t have as pungent an aroma as many skunk type weeds but you’ll still smell notes of fresh earth and herbs. The flavor has distinct notes of freshly squeezed orange and sweet spices. The high is leisurely rather than overpowering so this is a good weed for daytime use. Medically, this weed can help with mild stress and poor appetite.
Orange Crush plants grow to a medium height and the side stems have bright green leaves. The buds are dense and covered in brown to orange hairs. THC has been measured in the lab at between 12 and 15.6 percent.
Indoors, Orange Crush weed favors the SOG growing method and will do well cultivated in soil or hydro. Flowering time is seven to nine weeks and yields are in the average range.
Outdoors, this is a weed that craves warmth and sunshine so it’s best to grow it somewhere with a climate at least as warm as the Mediterranean.
If you’re looking for a mood-enhancing smoke that’s not overwhelming and has sweet fruit flavors, then Orange Crush marijuana may well be just the strain for you.
