It’s well known that Kryptonite is something that Superman has to avoid at all costs. Howerver, for tokers, the Kryptonite strain is a popular smoke that combines OG Kush with an unknown Kush to create a heavily Indica dominant weed.

The Kryptonite weed strain has a pungent, skunky smell with notes of freshly dug earth. The taste includes notes of pine and black hash. This potent weed produces a quick-acting high which hits the body and relaxes the mind. Inexperienced smokers should exercise caution since it can cause severe couchlock. Medical practitioners recommend it for muscular pain, insomnia and poor appetite.

Kryptonite seeds produce bushy plants of short to medium height with mid-green leaves. The dense buds are a paler green with a heavy dusting of frosty crystals beneath brown to orange hairs. THC content ranges from a powerful 20 to a formidable 25 percent.

Kryptonite weed can be grown indoors or outdoors, even in northern European countries. Outdoors, the plant thrives in a sheltered spot when grown in enriched soil with a flowering time of eight to 10 weeks and an outdoor harvest comes in October. Indoors, Kryptonite does well in soil or hydro and is well suited to the SOG growing method. Yields are around 300 grams per square metre.

Novice gardeners will appreciate this weed because it’s easy to grow, although less experienced smokers should be wary considering the high potency of the Kryptonite strain.
