Bubble Kush – 420 Seeds
Indica dominant (80%) Bubble Kush is a cross between Bubble Gum and an unknown Kush. It’s full of flavour, has plenty of THC and can deliver large yields.
While there are plenty of strains out there with candy-sweet flavours, the only strain which really perfected that old-school bubble gum taste was the original Bubble Gum. Bubble Kush has a very similar taste. It’s certainly sweet and floral rather than full-on skunk, but the extra Kush genetics do give it a much more robust, hashy, skunky baseline.
Interestingly, the skunk element pretty much disappears from the smoke, which is full of tangy, citrus freshness, with a clear note of lemons. It’s worth noting, however, that while the fragrance is all sweetness, it’s definitely not light, in fact this is a smoke with plenty of body.
With about 18% THC, Bubble Kush is plenty strong enough to deal with physical pain and mental issues, but still gentle enough that even those new to weed can use it with confidence. Its most popular use is for stress relief, but it’s also good for depression, physical pain and insomnia. You can also use it to treat inflammation and to stimulate appetite.
At first, you’ll experience that lovely Sativa high, leaving you feeling euphoric and refreshed, like your mind has been washed clean of all the dross which was worrying it. If pain was your problem, that will quickly be sent packing. Then the Kush genetics start to get to work and you begin to feel wonderfully comfortable and relaxed, totally at peace with your mind, your body and the world in general. This means that Bubble Kush is a strain which could be used at any time of day.
Bubble Kush will flower in 8 weeks indoors and will be ready to harvest in late September/Early October outdoors. Yields are very impressive, especially for such a compact plant. You can achieve up to 700g/m2 indoors and 850g/pp outdoors. On the one hand, this obviously makes Bubble Kush a great choice for anyone looking to get maximum yield in minimum space. On the other hand, you really will have to pay great attention to ventilation since you’re going to have a lot of branches with a lot of dense, resin-covered buds, which will be at high risk of mould unless you space your plants far enough apart to ensure good air flow. As long as you remember this (and your marijuana-growing basics), you should be fine as Bubble Kush is very hardy and has good resistance to mould, diseases and pests.
