Why KC 33? Because, the legend has it, grower KC Brains was 33 years old in 1993, the year that he created this Indica dominant strain by crossing Afghani, Haze and Ukrainian strains. Afghani and Haze strains are well-known, with Indica dominant Afghani and Sativa dominant Haze forming the basis for many of the modern weed strains. The Ukrainian strain is unusual, adding hardiness to KC 33.
KC 33 weed has a skunky aroma with citrus notes and the flavour is quite smooth with a definite taste of lemon zest. The high is cerebral rather than physical, so it’s a sensible choice for daytime smoking when you don’t want to be knocked out. Medically, this weed can help with mild muscular pain and poor appetite.
KC 33 seeds produce towering plants that can grow over two metres outdoors. The plants have large, lime-green leaves and long, light green buds that develop a covering of sticky resin as they mature. THC content is in the medium range.
KC 33 seeds were specifically developed for growing outdoors in cooler climates. Take care to plant it out after the risk of frost has passed and choose a spot that is sheltered from wind and gets plenty of sunshine. Harvest can come as early as late August, depending on when the seedlings were planted out, and each plant can yield up to 900 grams. Indoor growing is possible, but you’ll need a large growing room. Flowering is from seven to nine weeks and yields will be lower than outdoors.
KC 33 weed is perfect for those that are keen to grow outside in cooler countries, and its yield outdoors is high. The stone is one for people who like a good buzzz, but don’t want to be couchlocked.
