Quick Kush – Dinafem

Indica dominant (75/25) Quick Kush is Dinafem’s update of the ever popular OG Kush.  Genetically it’s a cross between photoperiod OG Kush and OG Kush Auto. Essentially it keeps everything people loved about the original and just makes it faster.

Quick Kush has between 18% and 25% THC, which makes it potent by any standards and quite exceptionally so for a strain which is this quick and robust.  It is certainly enough to tackle serious physical pain and negative emotional states.  While the high is on the stronger side, it’s an Indica high, rather than a Sativa one.  Although it’s full of positive vibes, it’s mellow and relaxing, rather than buzzy and euphoric.  Quick Kush also has about 1% CBD, so after your high, you get a deep, full-body stone for even more relaxation.  With this sort of CBD level, Quick Kush is probably best kept for use at night. If you need to use it in the day, make sure to leave yourself plenty of recover time.

Like its famous ancestor, Quick Kush will grow happily indoors or outdoors in a warm, dry, sunny climate.  Indoors it will need about 7 to 8 weeks of total growing time. Outdoors it will be ready around the middle of September.  Please note that Quick Kush is a quick strain not an autoflowering one.  In other words, light cycles do still matter and there is a specific outdoor harvest time.  Even though this strain is super speedy, it’s still on the taller side. Like its ancestor, it can easily stretch up to 3M outdoors. Although indoors 2M is more likely and its height can be kept down with plant training.  Big plants tend to mean big yields and Quick Kush is a case in point.  Indoor growers can expect up to 500g/m2, while outdoor growers could collect up to 1Kg per plant.  Quick Kush has been listed as moderately difficult to grow because it’s a photoperiod plant. But the strain is about as robust and vigorous as you can possibly get.

Perhaps the most important point of all is that Dinafem has carefully preserved, is the wonderful taste and smell of the original OG Kush. Both of which are a delicious blend of citrus, berry and fuel.
