Dinamed CBD Plus – Dinafem
Dinamed CBD is a great strain for people who want the therapeutic benefits of CBD without the psychoactivity of THC. Dinafem therefore decided to go one step further and self-crossed prime examples of it to create Dinamed CBD Plus.
With less than 1% THC, the psychoactive effects of Dinamed CBD Plus are essentially non-existent. The absence of THC does also mean that you lose out quick-acting pain relief, but not all conditions require this, in fact many conditions benefit from the slow-burning, long-lasting effectiveness of CBD, which is exactly why Dinamed CBD Plus was created. Obviously a strain with this much CBD is definitely one for night-time use.
The flavour of Dinamed CBD Plus is for people who like their marijuana fruity and fresh and the aroma is both sweet and zesty.
This strain can be an interesting one to grow. To begin with it’s actually Sativa dominant and even though the genetics are only about 60/40, the height is all Sativa. Indoors you can expect these plants to stretch to at least five times their pre-flowering height so you should assume they will reach at least 2 metres and outdoors they can easily reach 3 metres and more. Interestingly the grow time is more in line with what you’d expect from Indicas. Dinamed CBD Plus needs about 8 to 9 weeks flowering indoors and outdoors it will be ready for harvest in late September or early October. Harvests, however, reflect the Sativa height, you can expect 500g/m2 indoors (or better) and outdoors you can collect up to 1Kg per plant.
We’ve classed Dinamed CBD Plus as a challenging grow due to a combination of the fact that it is a photoperiod strain, meaning you need to manage light cycles, together with the fact that it really grows like a Sativa meaning not just tall but less compact and sturdy than the average Indica. Taken together this means you not only have to manage light cycles but also have to manage the grow space so that the plants actually get the full benefit of the light rather than it just hitting the outer leaves. You might also have to look at providing some form of support to the branches later in flowering.
All that said, aside from the issues related to its height, Dinamed CBD Plus is actually a fairly straightforward strain to grow, with decent resistance to diseases and pests. In particular, it’s a whole lot less greedy than the average Sativa, in fact you have to be a bit careful not to overdo the nutrients.
