Atomic Haze
Review
The Atomic Haze strain is a Sativa-dominant hybrid created by mixing genetic material from three strains; Northern Lights, Cambodian Sativa and Super Silver Haze. Super Silver Haze has been an outstanding performer in the High Times Cannabis Cup over the years with awards on no less than seven occasions, including first prize overall in 1998 and 1999.
Atomic Haze has a fragrant aroma reminiscent of tropical spices and jungle greenery. The taste includes notes of spice, citrus and berries. The high comes on quickly and is energising and cerebral. This is a great weed for daytime activities, especially of the creative kind, or for evening socialising. In medical use, it can help with poor appetite and stress.
The plants grow quite tall with long-fingered, pale green leaves and a rather straggling shape. The buds are elongated and cone-shaped with an abundance of orange to red hairs. THC levels are high.
Indoors, Atomic Haze is well-suited to the SCROG growing method and it needs careful training to keep it in bounds. It thrives in both soil and hydro. Flowering time is nine to 10 weeks and yields are between 60 and 90 grams per plant.
Any Atomic Haze review needs to clarify the strain’s outdoor growing potential. In reality, it will only grow well in a climate at least as warm as that of the Mediterranean. Harvest in the northern hemisphere comes in mid to late October.
Although this weed is not the highest yielder among the modern marijuana strains, connoisseurs prize the Atomic Haze strain for its stimulating high and its exotic Sativa aroma and flavor.
