Blue Rhino
Review
Indica dominant Blue Rhino cannabis takes its name from its two parent strains, White Rhino and Blueberry. White Rhino took second prize in the Bio category of the 1996 High Times Cannabis Cup while Blueberry was first overall in the competition in 2000 and has taken prizes on two other occasions.
When you smell Blue Rhino, you’ll be reminded of soft fruits and the flavor continues that theme with notes of blueberries, blackcurrants and gooseberries. This weed gives a very powerful physical high and you’re likely to experience some couchlock because of its high potency. Medically, Blue Rhino can alleviate muscular pain and insomnia.
Blue Rhino seeds produce plants that grow to between 90 and 120 centimetres tall. The plants are characterised by a heavy central cola with few leaves and the buds are roundish and very sticky with resin. In cooler conditions plants will take on a blue hue with hints of red as it matures. THC content has been measured in the lab at a whopping 25.3 percent.
The Blue Rhino strain likes plenty of room to develop its roots, so take that into account when you’re setting up your indoor growing room. Flowering time is eight to nine weeks and you should see yields of between 550 and 600 grams per square metre.
Outdoors, Blue Rhino likes lots of light to reach its full potential so be sure to pick a planting spot that enjoys plenty of sunlight. Harvest comes in early to mid-October in the northern hemisphere and each plant can produce up to 500 grams.
If you’re looking for a strain that produces exceptionally strong weed as well as an exotic berry flavor, you won’t go wrong with Blue Rhino cannabis. It’s quite straightforward to grow so it’s suitable for novices and experienced gardeners alike.

I’m a 52 year old patient, who was born with extremely bad eyes, and I have extremely bad bones too, with severe arthritis. I just got an ounce of this Blue Rhino today, & it definitely works. 🙂 I’ve also been smoking some Blue Hawaiian, so I might not be totally sure which I prefer yet. 😉
