Blueberry Headband

Created in northern California by the Emerald Triangle seed company, Blueberry Headband’s parents are Blueberry, Emerald OG, Cali Sour D and pre-1998 Bubba. Blueberry has an especially significant heritage since it won first place in the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2000 and second place in 2001. Blueberry Headband is a 50/50 mix of Sativa and Indica strains.

This weed has a slightly acrid smell that will remind you of diesel fuel combined with a more fragrant bouquet of fresh fruit. The flavour includes notes of citrus and sweet berries with a slightly sour undertone. The high mixes a cerebral rush with a relaxing physical hit. Medically, this weed can help with insomnia and muscular pain.

Blueberry Headband seeds produces bushy plants that are medium to tall in height, depending on the growing method. Leaves have long lobes and are a jungle green in colour, while the buds are elongated and tight. THC levels range from 15 to 20 percent.

Indoors, Blueberry Headband will produce a better flavour when grown organically in soil. The plants display good resistance to mould and mildew, flowering time is around nine weeks, and yields are high. Outdoors, it’s best to grow it in regions at least as warm and sunny as the Mediterranean countries. Outdoor harvest is in early October.

Any Blueberry Headband review would highlight one of this strain’s main qualities: its high yields. If you’re looking for a plant that produces an enjoyable high and heavy harvest, give it a try.

When grown correctly, I.E How nature intended/Organic this strain is truly amazing! Outdoor Greenhouse (i.e shadecloth) Harvests are INCREDIBLE. Largest yet was 11lb smallest 5lb (Nov-April from seed) height ranges from 5-7feet tall 5-10 feet wide
The flowers are outstanding, dense, large trichome production, low leaf to calyx ratio, a true gift for commercial or personal growers.

This strain IS an extremely LARGE yielder (7 years on BBH, not one failure or disappointment)

As for indoors, i recommend what the ‘new age growers’ call Super Soil, A well balanced soil blend with enough nutrients from seed to harvest (ALL ORGANIC)

In the 20 years i have personally never seen a chemical plant produce more then 2lb & even then the taste is awful. NO MATTER WHAT STRAIN.

Use the methods ive stated and you’ll end up with a bumper crop of yummy stashables

Love this strain, not a huge producer, however definitely a keeper for head stash. Usually I grow only sativas. To me, the pheno I have grows like a kush. A bit finicky on nutes. Not to much. Also doesn’t like it to hot. Grows better under 600 at, then 1000 at. Don’t see those blue hues they speak about. Hard nugs. I use advanced nutritnets.
