Skunk Haze

The Sativa dominant Skunk Haze strain combines the genetics of two classic strains, Original Haze and Skunk #1. Both of those strains have played a huge part in the genetic development of many of the modern cannabis strains and they are combined to create a top grade hybrid.

The Skunk Haze strain has a fruity, skunky smell that’s quite pungent and the flavor carries this theme with the addition of undertones of exotic spices and a musky sweetness. The weed produces a powerful high that hits both the body and the mind. It’s physically relaxing but mentally stimulating making it a great weed to share with friends. In medical use, this cannabis can help with poor appetite, muscular pain and insomnia.

The seeds produce plants that grow quite tall, up to 150 centimetres indoors and two metres or more outdoors. The leaves are light green with quite slender fingers. The spreading branches are well-spaced, allowing light and air to circulate freely around the plant, and the buds are quite long and fluffy. THC content is 20 to 22 percent.

Indoors Skunk Haze weed does well grown with the SOG method and it’s a good idea to trim the side stems to keep the plant in a manageable shape. Flowering time is nine to eleven weeks and with careful cultivation yields can be as high as 500 grams per square metre.

For successful outdoor growing, it needs a hot sunny climate with a long growing season. In the northern hemisphere harvest comes in late October to early November.

This is not the easiest strain to grow so it’s not recommended for novice cultivators. This Skunk Haze review recommends it if you’ve got some growing experience, as it will reward your efforts with good yields of potent weed.
