Mega CBD is a cross between Double Big Bud and CBD Max.  It’s an outstanding medical strain which also offers great yields and a zesty taste.

This strain has an average of 5% to 6% THC.  That is enough for a little bit of fast-acting pain relief.  It’s also enough to clear your head of any mental dross.  It is, however, nowhere near enough for a proper high.  In other words, if you’re using Mega CBD, it’s because you want the Mega CBD, all 15% to 18% of it.  This is a strain for people who have the most severe CBD-responsive conditions.  For example, it can be used to treat aggressive seizures, chronic pain and major anxiety.

Obviously, Mega CBD is going to leave you couchlocked in a big way.  It’s definitely best kept for use in the evening.  Having said that, if you need a strain this strong then you may have limited options regarding when you medicate.  If that sounds like you, then be sure to leave yourself plenty of recovery time before doing anything complicated.

The taste of Mega CBD is definitely one for people who like their citrus lemon.  The lemon flavour brings an added bonus.  It means that there’s plenty of Limonene.  Limonene has all kinds of goodness in it.  So it’s a nice boost to the benefits of the cannabis itself.  The lemon is balanced by a touch of sugar and spice, most noticeably cinnamon.

Mega CBD is actually a Sativa dominant strain.  As a result, it can get moderately tall.  Indoors, you’re looking at an average of 1.9M.  Outdoors, this strain can reach 2.1M or even a bit more.  In other words, it’s a bit taller than a modern Indica, but still way shorter than an old-school Sativa.  The indoor flowering time is 8 to 10 weeks and the outdoor harvest is early to mid-October.

Taller plants have more space for bud.  Mega CBD has space of up to 650g/m2 indoors and outdoors you could easily collect 650g per plant.  As you’d expect from Mega Buds, Mega CBD is a very robust strain.  It has great resistance to mold, diseases and pests.

Indoors, the key to growing Mega CBD is to ensure good ventilation.  This means giving your plants enough space.  That includes horizontal space as well as vertical space.  In smaller growing areas, you may need to do some plant training.  Outdoors, you will need to choose your growing location with care.  It needs to be reliably warm, dry and sunny into October.
