Sativa dominant Cindy 99 by Blim Burn Seeds is, of course, a homage to the legendary Cinderella 99 by the Brothers Grimm. Genetically it is a cross between Princess and Cinderella 88.cindy-99-marijuana-strain

This Sativa behaves like an Indica. It is noted for its remarkably rapid growth and its sweet and fruity taste that comes from its Grapefruit and Pineapple ancestry. Inside it can be harvested as early as between 50 and 55 days and outside at the end of September to the middle of October. It’s a similar story in terms of the effect. Cindy 99 opens like a true Sativa, with a powerful, buzzy head high, this then glides gently to a halt and the Indica genetics take over, bringing on that smooth and soothing full-body stone, which gently but firmly deals with both physical pain and emotional issues. Overall Cindy 99 is a reasonably straightforward variety to grow and could feasibly be cultivated by beginners, provided that they are prepared to do their homework and put in the effort necessary to get results of up to 550 g/m2.

First of all, beginners need to understand that they need to ensure all the basics are thoroughly covered, particularly ventilation (and air filters would probably be a good idea too). There are some strains which are fairly forgiving of this kind of basic error, but they tend to be Indicas. Secondly beginners need to be aware that Cindy 99 can easily grow up to 2 or 3 meters and keeping her on the shorter side of this scale will usually require a degree of plant training of some description. Thirdly, as a quick-growing Sativa, Cindy 99 is one of the most nutrient-demanding strains around and therefore will need lots (and lots) of feeding to support her growth. Fourthly, even if you do keep Cindy 99 to around the 2 metre mark, this is still fairly tall and hence you’re probably going to need to provide some support for the branches over the flowering period. None of this is particularly difficult, but it does take time and some degree of effort. Beginners who are unsure about whether or not they can make this sort of commitment will find plenty of less-demanding strains out there.
